The big brains at Lamborghini have realized the importance of electric cars in the coming times and as a result they have started preparing to meet the future wherein the natural oil and gas may run out of the resources.

In order to make the electric car, the designer of the Minotauro, Andrei Avarvarii in collaboration with Lamborghini Chief Designer, Fillippo Perini has come up with a soft Lamborghini design that features an electric engine and a futuristic exterior.

Dubbed Lamborghini Minotauro, the car is designed light and to be released by 2020. Minotauro won’t feature a V12 engine still it will thunder with 500hp and that’s made possible with the help of the 4 asynchronous motors powered by a Li-Tec flatcell battery pack.

Four motors of the Minotauro will be having different power capacities: for the front there will be two 75hp electric motors that will generate 30% of car’s power and two 175hp electric motors at the rear generating 70% of car’s power.

Measuring in at 4604mm, the car is six millimeters shorter than the Murcielago and has its mid mounted V12 engine eliminated, thus making some space for the third passenger in the middle of the backseat.

The car will also be equipped with a Kinetic Energy Recovery System and there will be triangular air vents at the rear to keep the batteries cool.
