Virtue of doing something different is rare, but it never comes without the essence of likings the creator/artist has. One such man is Chinese light and laser artist, Li Hui who has considerable inclination towards Buddhism and Chinese philosophy and that is what his work presents intrinsically.
Here is a transition from him which is basically used to convey the meaning of metempsychosis – the transmigration of the soul. And, Lu Hui has carefully bandaged an accident struck Jeep Cherokee to suit the purpose.
The salvaged vehicle is illuminated with more than 13000 laser lights mounted on the museum’s ceiling. After the laser lights struck the damaged vehicle, the heat from laser beams releases vapor from the cloth into the surrounding space, expressing the meaning of metempsychosis.
Not only this, but his transition also exhibits the deeply rooted Chinese philosophy of transforming something negative into positive.
