First ever special edition for Hyundai i30 range

A new special edition for the i30 range promises to bring a little colour to British roads this autumn. The new version of the acclaimed hatchback is based on the popular 1.4 Comfort model, but adds extra equipment and colours which have not previously been available on any i30 hatch.
A factory-fitted electric sunroof will help let in the last of the summer sun, while 16-inch alloy wheels and the stylish door mirrors first seen on the i30 Estate model add a little extra visual verve.

These mirrors not only have side repeater indicators built into the casing, but also fold electrically to protect them when parked in tight spaces or on busy roads.

As with all i30s, the SE is also equipped with ESP, air conditioning, four electric windows, integrated steering wheel audio controls, six airbags, trip computer, iPod/USB integration and active headrests. There is also the reassurance of Hyundai’s famous Five Year, Unlimited Mileage Warranty.

The three eye-catching new colours - Crystal White, Ember Red and Indigo Blue – have never been seen before on the i30 and promise to brighten up any driveway.

All of the SE models are powered by the efficient and frugal 1.4-litre, 107bhp petrol engine which returns 46.3 mpg and produces just 145g/km of CO2 – making it one of the lowest emitting petrol-powered C-segment vehicles available.

Just 700 of the i30 SEs will be available, priced at £11,845, with mica paint costing an additional £390. The first cars will reach Hyundai showrooms on 25 August.
