Alan Ferguson, put his huge experience and four years into creating the ‘Blast’, a car that is complete fun to drive. Sitting low and light-weight, thanks to fiberglass panels, the car has an excellent weight-to-power ratio. Alan decided that the best donor car would be a Subaru, especially because of the flat engine that lowers the center of gravity and brings more stability.
Subaru’s 2.2-l turbocharged motor works with a Subaru 5-speed transmission to send power to the wheels. Weighing in at a lowly 1650 lbs, the car can provide 30mpg of fuel efficiency.
