Alan decided that the best donor car would be a Subaru, especially because of the flat engine that lowers the center of gravity and brings more stability.
Subaru’s 2.2-l turbocharged motor works with a Subaru 5-speed transmission to send power to the wheels. Weighing in at a lowly 1650 lbs, the car can provide 30mpg of fuel efficiency.
